Hello:
The RAND Survey Research Group has just posted position open notices for three CPIC positions. Notices are on the RAND website, as well as Craig’s list. Applicants must apply right away.
The job descriptions describe the qualifications and duties, but very generally:
The three positions are:
Field assistant: One position open.
A benefited position. Assists the Field Supervisor in in-person screening at sites by being responsible for assigning and monitoring interviewers at site assignments and reconciliation of and bringing in to RAND, forms completed at sites.
Telephone interviewer: one to three positions
Non benefited. Works part time in the RAND telephone Survey Center in Santa Monica conducting 45 minute Computer Assisted Telephone Interviews of CPIC participants who screened at site as eligible.
Bi lingual a plus
Field Screener: 8-10 positions
Non benefited: Works part time in the field under the supervision of the field supervisor assisted by the field assistant. The interviewer will work individually and as part of a team, approaching potentially eligible clients at assigned CPIC sites in South LA and Hollywood Metro and conducting in person 10 minute screening interviews, scoring those interviews, encouraging participation in CPIC baseline interviews, and administering informed consent. Person must be able to read well, build rapport and keep accurate records
